The Mental Habit of Feeling Rushed & Overwhelmed

We can all feel rushed and overwhelmed. It makes us unhappy, unproductive and everything generally unpleasant.

But it doesn’t have to be like this.

Zen Habits have a four point plan to tackle these annoyances, starting with noticing when they occur:

  • Notice each time you feel rushed, anxious or overwhelmed. Try to develop an awareness of it throughout the day. The sooner you can catch it, the better. Make it a game: try to see it when it happens, as often as you can.
