Dedicated to the mindful life.

I’ve thought about featuring Elephant Journal before and decided against it.

We’re dedicated to sharing the good life beyond the choir, and to all those who didn’t yet know they give a care about living a good, fun life that’s good for others, and our planet. The mindful life is about yoga, organics, sustainability, conscious consumerism, enlightened education, the contemplative arts, adventure, bicycling, family…everything. But mostly it’s about this present moment, right here, right now, and how we can best be of benefit, and have a good time doing so.

I am big on inspiration, motivation, dedication and a positive outlook, but I don’t consider myself to be a spiritual or “new age” type.

Elephant Journal is written by and for “new age” type people, they even have a “non new-agey” section (!)

That said, today I found the “wow” section, which is more grounded in practicality and experience rather than spirituality and energy.

Articles such as depression may lead to accomplishment, who the f*ck cares and  be bold today helped me understand the true value of Elephant Journal and made me change my mind.

If you are into energy and spirituality then this site has a lot for you, if, like me you’re not then check out the wow section.

You won’t be disappointed.
