Letter to my grandchildren.

Young people, you need the wisdom of age, just as some of us older ones need your enthusiasm for life.

I’ve admired Richard Branson from a very young age.

As I get older (and he does too) I appreciate him from new and different angles- those of a father and a grandfather; not just a self made businessman.

Richard recently became a grandfather and has written a brief open letter to his grandchildren dispensing some of his hard won wisdom.

As a father myself, I am dedicated to providing my children with a positive influence, an empowering belief in themselves and to ensure they maximise their potential.

We all want the best for our children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren – so who better to help us set the example than one of the most successful people on the planet 🙂

My favourite excerpt?

My golden rule in life is to have fun. Life is not a dress rehearsal, so don’t waste your precious time doing things that don’t light your fire. Do what you enjoy, and enjoy what you do. Trust me; great things will follow.
