Self deprecation stems from self doubt.
This idea, from the people behind the Productivity Planner, has really got me thinking.
How often do we tell ourselves that we have “failed” or aren’t “good enough” or that we’re just not as capable as those around us?
For most I suspect we say horrible things to ourselves that we wouldn’t dream of saying to others, but somehow in the privacy of our inner monologue this self abuse is acceptable.
What you say to yourself defines your self esteem and your self esteem either empowers your or limits you. Attempting to go 7 days, or even 1 day without negative self talk may be more difficult than you realise , but it will be more powerful than you could expect.
Words are powerful, use them carefully.
