Sell your crap. Pay off your debt. Do what you love.

I initially resisted sharing this site. I was unsure how relevant it may be for you (my faithful reader) in your pursuit of inspiring material and ideas for a better life.

That was until I truly understood what manvsdebt is all about.

And it’s not just about paying off debt.

This website tracks the very personal journey of Adam Baker, his journey out of debt and more importantly toward his passion. He gives us practical ideas and tips to help eliminate debt and the accumulated “crap” in our lives to allow us to focus on the more important.

Debt is the epitome of not following your goals.

Buying things you can’t afford to make yourself feel better as you hate your job and your circumstances, not having the discipline to live within your means, or the sense to not buy a 60″ television are characteristics of those who sleep walk through life unhappy, unsure where they are heading, but with no intention of changing their ways.

Adam’s site helps you to not only make sense of why you are in debt, but how to resolve it and how not to return.

It digs deeper into what makes you happy and why you decided buying things you couldn’t afford made you feel better in some way.

Posts such as 26 things I’ve learned in 26 years of living are proof that this is thankfully not just a finance blog- and thus another useful resource of new ideas to help you in your own life (whether you have debt or not)

“Define what freedom means for you” is the idea behind Adam’s TEDx talk below and it is one of the most honest and direct TED talks I think I have ever seen

Enjoy
