I had “Oh the places you will go” read at my wedding in 2012 and it was one of my first encounters with Dr. Seuss.
Despite being a children’s author, it seems Dr. Seuss’ tales have wisdom, insight and morals that are as relevant today as they were when he wrote them.
From “why fit in when you were born to stand out” to “oh the thinks you can think” to “it’s better to know how to learn than to know”, the gentle, rhyming tales are as educational as they are entertaining for both adults and kids.
