Sometimes doing nothing is the most productive thing you can do.
Doing nothing can be great.
A chance to rest, relax, unwind or do the “unproductive” things you forbid yourself to do most of the time.
The trouble is, we don’t make the time to do nothing.
Seems silly, but it’s true.
This post from LifeHacker talks about making a scheduled time to do nothing, to ensure you get this important space in your life.
Pick a day. It can be a weekend or take a day off of work and put it on the calendar. You know if you don’t put it on the calendar it is going to be put off to the side…If it’s on your calendar you are obligated to do it.
It may sound flippant, but I think they are on to something.
